With deep expertise and a collaborative approach, Modio’s XCS team brings decades of experience to the providers they support every day. Their work ensures providers can begin seeing patients and receiving reimbursement as quickly and smoothly as possible. 

From affiliating providers with hospitals to enrolling them with federal, state, and commercial payers, the team handles the administrative complexity so clients can stay focused on caring for patients.

Experience that scales with client needs

XCS specialists Marisa Anderson and Kelly Zaryski bring a combined 30 years of experience to Modio, pairing technical expertise with a practical understanding of how credentialing and enrollment play out in the real world — experience that is especially critical for clients.

“Marisa and I handle a high-volume workload by staying organized and communicating frequently, shifting focus to meet urgent demands, and navigating multistate payer regulations,” shares Kelly. “Every state and payer has its own nuances, so being adaptable is key.”

According to Marisa, scale and precision go hand in hand. “We currently manage enrollment for 500+ providers across several states. Our workflow is built around meeting strict payer deadlines, meaning we aren’t afraid to pivot our focus to ensure priority enrollments are submitted on time. While our task load is heavy, we maintain a high level of organization and operational stability.”

Both Marisa and Kelly enjoy the ongoing challenges that come with the role, from learning new state payer portals to staying on top of evolving requirements and securing approvals for clients. It’s work that requires patience, persistence, and an eye for detail.

Multitasking is key

For Kelly, juggling complexity doesn’t stop at work. As a mom of a very busy and active 10‑year‑old, and while planning her upcoming wedding later this year, multitasking is second nature.

“An ideal ‘great day’ for me would consist of anything that I can check off my list,” says Kelly. “Whether it’s getting a handful of applications submitted to payers, receiving emails from payers with approvals, or having a productive client meeting, I enjoy being able to check things off my list and move on to the next thing.”

That sense of momentum is a big factor in the XCS team’s approach: steady progress, transparent communication, and a commitment to seeing things through. There is also significant trust — Modio’s XCS team views clients as partners, and clients view Modio’s XCS team in the same way. Beyond the day‑to‑day

Outside of working full-time at Modio, Marisa also has a photography business where she enjoys capturing images of families, and she also prides herself as an amateur gardener with Martha Stewart as her inspiration. “A huge goal of mine is to have a greenhouse in my backyard where I can grow plants and have my photography clients come and utilize it as a studio,” shares Marisa.
